Procedure
Before the hysteroscopy biopsy, your gynecologist will provide you with detailed instructions on how to prepare for the procedure. It may involve avoiding food and drink for a certain period before the appointment.
The procedure includes administration of local or general anesthesia to ensure your comfort throughout the procedure followed by Insertion of the Hysteroscope and Visualization and Tissue Sampling.
Recovery and Follow Up care
Once the procedure is complete, the hysteroscope is removed, and you will be taken to a recovery area where you will be monitored for a short period. Most patients can return home on the same day and resume their daily activities within a day or two.
Our team will provide you with detailed instructions regarding any post-procedure care. You may experience mild cramping or spotting, which is normal and should subside within a few days.
